What is medical taping?
Medical taping aims to treat pain from athletic injuries and other physical complaints. The therapist applies the highly stretchable tape to support certain muscles in their function. Besides being necessary for movement, muscles are also important for body temperature and blood and lymph circulation.

For which physical complaints can medical taping be used?

• As a (post) treatment of injuries to the musculoskeletal system, such as back and shoulder pain, but also knee and calf pain
• Reduction of complaints caused by fluid congestion such as oedema and bruises
  Posture correction
• Treating problems caused by overload (such as baseball arm or carpal tunnel)
• Fighting (tension) headaches and nerve pain by influencing the nervous system

Properties of medical tape are:

• Elastic, breathable, self-adhesive tape on high quality cotton
• Anti-allergic acrylic adhesive layer
• Waterproof (showering is possible)
• Without addition of medication
